Get Rid of Your Ghosts

On the 25th of May installment of these chronicles, I spoke about Land of Trees, an easy listening band that I enjoy in these days of lock-down. As Coronavirus recently shattered many of our certitudes, most likely many of us spent some sleepless nights, visited by ghosts. Today Land of Trees come gently back to remind us how to deal with them.
The song is available on the internet.

“It’s amazing facing the ones that you love
While alone you’ve grown to look above

The things that made you fall so deep
ith lots And nightmares kept you away from your sleep
And it’s crazy lazy to spend your time
Looking around just trying to find
Excuses for every moment you sit
In front of your problems not dealing with it
(…)
So darling face it
Darling face it instead
Get rid of your ghosts
Chase them out of your head
(…)
And it’s amazing loving the people you face
When you know you’re in a better place
The things you thought are almost gone
You’re singing now with a different tone
(…)
Oh, darling face it

Darling face it instead
Get rid of your ghosts
Chase them out of your head”

Get Rid of Your Ghosts – Land of trees – 2016

Situation in Italy continues to improve every day. The chart below is very interesting as it shows the situation region by region.

In the chart, red regions have a higher number of cases and higher weekly cases increment than the Italian average. Yellow regions have a higher number of cases but lower weekly increase than the average, orange regions have a lower number of cases but a higher weekly increase than the average, while green regions have lower number of cases and lower weekly increase than the average. The conclusion is that Piemonte and Liguria are still critical, yellow regions are improving but still at risk, while green regions are out of the Coronavirus crisis. It is interesting to see that Italy is practically cut in two, and the South is today a safe place. Go there for your holidays, if you can 😉
