Liberation Day
As I said a few days ago, the Prime Minister has announced an extension of the “circuit breaker”, the local branding for lock-down, complemented by additional measures.
This is the list of things that are not possible anymore. The extension is effective until 1st of June.
Today is the 25th of April, and in Italy we commemorate the end of Nazi occupation during World War II and the victory of Resistance. The Italian President attended alone the celebrations, wearing a mask.
In these tough days it is good to remind that in the past, even the Nazi-Fascist oppression was overcome by people’s courage and determination. We owe gratitude, respect and support to all the doctors, nurses and medical staff fighting on the front line. Today, yesterday and forever Resistance.
