Happy Easter
It is Easter today. It is surely very different from what we expected and it is impossible to respect Easter traditions. I guess that while confined in our homes, many of us are thinking of what we can learn from all this. Time will tell, as of today, enjoying time with our beloved ones, in our homes, and think positive is all we can really do.
Today, I have crunched numbers for Switzerland and the news there are encouraging as shown by these two charts.
The number of new cases per day in Switzerland is smaller than the number of people healing or unfortunately dying and as a result, the number of infected people is decreasing. The fatality ratio, defined as number of deaths divided by the number of confirmed cases, is 3.9% in Switzerland, so overall, that country is quite on the lucky side, so far. Let’s hope it remains like this.
